EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS

SERVING THE BODY OF CHRIST WITH REVERENCE AND DEVOTION

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (EMHC)

are Catholics in good standing, twenty-one years or older, who assist with the distribution of Holy Communion at Sunday and Holy Day parish liturgies and take Communion to the sick and homebound members of our parish. They are mandated by the diocese and attend training sessions within the diocese and in the parish.

Eucharistic Ministers at Good Shepherd Parish play a crucial role in our worship by assisting in the distribution of Holy Communion during Mass and bringing the Eucharist to those who are unable to attend church. This ministry is a profound expression of our faith and commitment to serving God and our community.

The mission of the Eucharistic Ministers is to bring the real presence of Christ to our parishioners with the utmost reverence and care. We are dedicated to ensuring that the sacredness of the Eucharist is honored and that all who receive it are met with respect and compassion.
